When you work hard at your workplace, or when your start-up company just established, have you ever thought about the basic knowledge of labor law can help you with your business? There were many situations in workplace, such as “Bao Kangru” discrimination incident, H1B rights and interests protection; employees recruitment and dismissal, the development of new partners and separating ways–we all need the labor law, and listen to the experts’ suggestions and analysis.
In order to serve the San Diego community, Sanford Heisler Kimpel LLP and the San Diego Chinese Lawyers Association co-sponsored a series of labor law lectures and workshops. The workshop will be presented by Zheng Qiaojing, a lawyer for Sanford Heisler Kimpel, who specializes in labor litigation. She will generalize the common knowledge about US federal and California labor laws, analyze hot issues in labor relations, analyze the main problems and challenges faced by start-ups in labor matters, and how employees of start-ups can protect their own rights and interests.
